The Samsung Galaxy A37 5G features a distinctive design, moving away from its predecessor with
a glazed ceramic‑look glass back and a translucent camera housing. The front and back are
protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+.
This device raises durability significantly with an IP68 rating. It is dust‑tight and can be
submerged in up to 1.5 metres of fresh water for 30 minutes — a rare feature in the mid‑range
segment that adds real peace of mind.
The frame is made of plastic, keeping weight manageable. The side‑mounted fingerprint sensor
provides fast and secure access. The Galaxy A37 5G is available in elegant colours with a
glazed ceramic finish.
The Samsung Galaxy A37 5G features a 6.7‑inch Super AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution
(1080×2340 pixels). The 120Hz refresh rate delivers smooth scrolling and responsive touch
interactions.
The screen reaches a peak brightness of 1900 nits, ensuring excellent outdoor visibility even
under direct sunlight. HDR10+ support brings vibrant colours and deep contrast. The display is
protected by Gorilla Glass Victus+.
Whether watching videos, browsing social media, or playing games, the Galaxy A37 5G display is
a strong upgrade over its predecessor.
Under the hood, the Samsung Galaxy A37 5G is powered by the Exynos 1480 chipset, built on a
power‑efficient 4nm process. This octa‑core CPU is paired with an AMD RDNA 3‑based Xclipse 530
GPU, delivering smooth performance for gaming and multitasking.
Memory options include 6GB or 8GB of RAM and storage options of 128GB or 256GB UFS 3.1. There
is no microSD card slot, so choose your storage wisely. The phone also includes “Awesome
Intelligence” AI tools like Object Eraser and Circle to Search.
The Exynos 1480 handles everyday tasks effortlessly, and popular games run smoothly at medium
to high settings, with Samsung’s cooling system helping maintain consistent performance.
The Samsung Galaxy A37 5G has a triple rear camera system:
The 50MP sensor benefits from an upgraded ISP for better low‑light photography. Both the main
rear camera and the 12MP selfie camera support 4K video recording at 30fps.
The camera excels in daylight photography, and OIS meaningfully improves low‑light shots and
video stability — a strong camera system for a mid‑range device.
Battery life is a major strength of the Samsung Galaxy A37 5G. It packs a 5000mAh battery that
delivers exceptional endurance, with Samsung specifying up to 2 days of runtime under normal
usage.
The device supports 45W wired fast charging via USB‑C, reaching roughly 60% charge in just 30
minutes, with a full charge taking approximately 1 hour. (Note: the charger is sold
separately.)
There is no wireless charging, but the 45W speed more than compensates — a strong combination
for the mid‑range segment.
The Samsung Galaxy A37 5G runs Android 16 out of the box with One UI 8.5, bringing the latest
privacy controls, notification management, and customisation options.
What sets this device apart is Samsung’s commitment to 6 major Android OS upgrades and 6 years
of security patches — updates up to Android 22, keeping your device secure until at least 2032.
One UI 8.5 includes “Awesome Intelligence” features like Object Eraser, Circle to Search, and
AI photo enhancements, making the Galaxy A37 5G a future‑minded investment.
The Samsung Galaxy A37 5G supports 5G (sub‑6GHz) via the Exynos 1480 modem. Other connectivity
options include Wi‑Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC for contactless payments with Samsung Wallet, eSIM
support, and USB Type‑C 2.0 with OTG.
There is no 3.5mm headphone jack, but the device features stereo speakers for immersive audio.
